Prince Paul of Brasland (1934-1969) was the son of King Frederick V and Princess Maria Anna of Brasland.

In 1961 he married Empress Amelia of Maetron. Their cultural and religious differences soon provoked deep tensions between the couple, and they divorced.

Paul returned to Brasland in 1963, and he resumed his career in the Royal Army.

In 1966 he married Auguste, daughter of Count Johannes von Henslen. They had two children: Prince Stephan (born 1967) and Princess Priscilla (born 1968).

Paul was a close advisor to his brother, King George III. The two had a very close relationship and the King relied on his brother and trusted his advice. As Paul was a staunch anti-communist, he was seen as a threat by some. He died a few months after his brother in a mysterious helicopter accident.
