Another New World Order

Another New World Order is a minuscule region, inhabited by a sole nation.

In Another New World Order, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. Families in the region are so obsessed with the economy that the discussion of laffer curves and supply-side reforms over dinner is a regular occurrence in member nations. Denizens suffer under an enormous tax burden throughout the region, with a median tax rate of 61%, and much higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the public sector, with on average only 35% of the economy comprising the private sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 12% of public expenditure.

Another New World Order values education extremely highly, and denizens compete for the largest number of university degrees and sprawling book collections. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems. Denizens have well-funded defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 9% of total government budgets.

Nobody really knows about the state of administration in Another New World Order. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Governments are pathological about caring for the health of their citizens, with vast sums being ploughed into hospitals, doctors and medical research No welfare is provided in the region. Those unlucky enough to fall into unemployment are forgotten and abandoned. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is a major problem within Another New World Order, although some effort has been made to correct the problem. Environments within the region are very good, with a healthy balance of denizen's activity and regard for protection of nature.
