Bully Pulpit

Bully Pulpit is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations.

Throughout Bully Pulpit civil rights are held dearly by all. Denizens are flush with political freedom, although competing opinions often mean that political gridlock is the norm. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. Denizens tend to pay their taxes quickly and quietly, with a median tax rate of 24%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 21% of the economy comprising the public sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 11% of public expenditure.

Bully Pulpit values education extremely highly, and denizens compete for the largest number of university degrees and sprawling book collections. The region's law enforcement is arguably too well-equipped and overzealous, arresting citizens who dare to commit the most minor of infractions. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 9% of total government budgets.

Governments in Bully Pulpit communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 6% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Governments bestow their healthcare departments with a gargantuan amount of funding, with an average of 11% of government budgets across the region being heaped on to healthcare. Welfare is a large part of government expenditure, with denizens amply provided for. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is a major problem within Bully Pulpit, although some effort has been made to correct the problem. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
