German Confederation is a medium-sized region, with a thriving community of 12 nations.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of German Confederation eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Nations in the region are healthy democracies, with denizens being afforded an extensive array of political freedoms. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Denizens tend to pay their taxes quickly and quietly, with a median tax rate of 19%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 27% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.
