Macedonian is a minuscule region, inhabited by a sole nation.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Macedonian eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. Denizens tend to pay their taxes quickly and quietly, with a median tax rate of 21%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 22% of the economy comprising the public sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 10% of public expenditure.
Education is a priority for governments throughout Macedonian, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Due to the lack of any Public transport, streets are packed with cars, bikes, and assorted noisy vehicles.
Nobody really knows about the state of administration in Macedonian. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Governments bestow their healthcare departments with a gargantuan amount of funding, with an average of 17% of government budgets across the region being heaped on to healthcare. The 'net through which none shall fall' in the region is more of a 'hammock on which all shall lie'. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
In Macedonian, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
