0 Degrees is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations and without any World Assembly representation. and only 0 World Assembly Members.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of 0 Degrees eagerly dismissed concerns of oppressation. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. It’s the economy, stupid... and in this region, it’s massive. The median tax rate of the region is 26%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tends to be dominated by the private sector, with on average only 2% of the economy comprising the public sector. National governments within the region are more concerned with corporate welfare than the welfare of ordinary citizens, with commerce budgets accounting for an average of 52% of public expenditure.
In 0 Degrees education, when conducted, is done with sticks and mud. Criminality is rife within the region, with law enforcement struggling to cope.
