1000 Ways to Die

1000 Ways To Die is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations.

In 1000 Ways To Die, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. Denizens tend to pay their taxes quickly and quietly, with a median tax rate of 21%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 35% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.

1000 Ways To Die values education extremely highly, and denizens compete for the largest number of university degrees and sprawling book collections. The region's law enforcement officials try hard to combat a relatively high level of crime, but are hampered by a lack of funding. Nations within the region are forced to use soft fruit and harsh language in the field of battle, with no government funds being set aside for defense. Due to the lack of any Public transport, streets are packed with cars, bikes, and assorted noisy vehicles.

Throughout 1000 Ways To Die, governments find themselves confused, with administration departments being so bloated that staff do not know what other staff are doing, with an average of over 11% of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Governments generally endow their healthcare departments with a large amount of funding, with an average of 9% of government budgets across the region being devoted to healthcare. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is a major problem within 1000 Ways To Die, although some effort has been made to correct the problem. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
