100 Islands

100 Islands is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations and without any World Assembly representation. and only 0 World Assembly Members.

The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of 100 Islands eagerly dismissed concerns of oppressation. Political freedoms are extended only to close friends and relatives of the leaders of the region's governments. Families in the region discuss laffer curves and supply-side reforms over supper, such is the level of obsession exhibited by member nations. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 97%, or more! The region is a socialist utopia: private enterprise is strictly prohibited in the constituent economies. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 6% of public expenditure.

In 100 Islands education, when conducted, is done with sticks and mud. The region's law enforcement officials try hard to combat a relatively high level of crime, but are hampered by a lack of funding. Defense is a major priority for governments within the region, with a large chunk of government budgets being devoted to it. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 7% of total government budgets.

Governments in 100 Islands find themselves in a constant state of disarray, with very little co-ordination, only 1% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Hospital patients are given credit checks upon passing through emergency rooms, as no government provision is made for healthcare in the region. No welfare is provided in the region. Those unlucky enough to fall into unemployment are forgotten and abandoned. Spirituality is a moderate priority of governments within the region, with1% of government budgets being devoted to Spirituality.

In 100 Islands, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
