Throughout 2p2 Politics civil rights are held dearly by all. Denizens are flush with political freedom, although competing opinions often mean that political gridlock is the norm. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. The median tax rate of the region is 35%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 35% of the economy comprising the public sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 8% of public expenditure.
2p2 Politics values education extremely highly, and denizens compete for the largest number of university degrees and sprawling book collections. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have well-funded defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 7% of total government budgets.
Nobody really knows about the state of administration in 2p2 Politics. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Governments are pathological about caring for the health of their citizens, with vast sums being ploughed into hospitals, doctors and medical research Governments in the region have a pathological fixation on welfare, with welfare budgets soaking up huge amounts of government expenditure. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
