British Isles

British Isles is a enormous region, with a very large community of 209 member nations. British Isles also has a very large representation in the World Assembly, with 53 member nations.

In British Isles, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Nations in the region are healthy democracies, with denizens being afforded an extensive array of political freedoms. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. The median tax rate of the region is 48%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the public sector, with on average only 45% of the economy comprising the private sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 8% of public expenditure.

Education is a priority for governments throughout British Isles, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 3% of total government budgets.

Governments in British Isles communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 7% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Governments generally endow their healthcare departments with a large amount of funding, with an average of 9% of government budgets across the region being devoted to healthcare. Welfare is a large part of government expenditure, with denizens amply provided for. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is a major problem within British Isles, although some effort has been made to correct the problem. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.

British Isles Forum

British Isles government.png

British Isles has a lively community of politics, role playing, a government and much, much more. Most of this happens on the forum, which is a normal ZetaBoards-system. British Isles forum currently has a post count of over 55 thousand. Most categories as well as subcategories are named after real-life places in London, such as The Tube, where you need to apply for citizenship, and the Globe Theater, where all RPing happens.
