Islam Al RORMS is a minuscule region, inhabited by a sole nation.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Islam Al RORMS eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. It’s the economy, stupid... and in this region, it’s massive. Denizens suffer under an enormous tax burden throughout the region, with a median tax rate of 59%, and much higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 14% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a major priority of national governments within the region, most of whom are trading nations, as is evidenced by the fact that commerce budgets account for an average of 28% of public expenditure in the region.
In Islam Al RORMS education, when conducted, is done with sticks and mud. The region's law enforcement is arguably too well-equipped and overzealous, arresting citizens who dare to commit the most minor of infractions. Denizens have very well-funded, well equipped defense forces. Due to the lack of any Public transport, streets are packed with cars, bikes, and assorted noisy vehicles.
Governments in Islam Al RORMS communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 2% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 3% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. No welfare is provided in the region. Those unlucky enough to fall into unemployment are forgotten and abandoned. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
In Islam Al RORMS, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
