A map of the South Pacific

South Pacific is a large region, with a bustling and busy community, numbering 75 nations and only 12 World Assembly Members.

In South Pacific, citizens scatter at the sight of strangers and are careful to keep carefully blank faces when approached. Political freedoms are extended only to close friends and relatives of the leaders of the region's governments. The almost total lack of economic activity in the country is a constant sore spot for politicians. Inhabitants rarely are visited by the tax collector, and the region boasts a paltry median tax rate of -1%. The economies of nations in the region tend to be dominated by the private sector, with on average only -1% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a low priority for governments, accounting for an average of -1% of public expenditure, although commerce is generally seen as a source of tax revenue.

Citizens of the South Pacific are educated on the incredible history that the region has to offer. Both WA Delegate, Mysterious Wonder, and Vice Delegate, Holly United have made it their number 1 project since taking office. Citizens have a great opportunity to claim a land on the regional map. The current administration encourages a lot of RP, and interaction with one another. The WA Delegate's main focus is to create a stress free environment, as well as developing strong diplomatic relationships in the Nationstates community.

South Pacific is one of the favorite get away locations in Nationstates. It has so much to do, from getting a tan on the beach, swimming with dolphins, or just enjoying a drink at the Mysterious Wonder's Tiki Bar. It was named after our WA Delegate, Mysterious Wonder! You could say that South Pacific is a small slice of heaven.
