Teen Titans is a minuscule region, inhabited by a few solitary nations.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Teen Titans eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Denizens are flush with political freedom, although competing opinions often mean that political gridlock is the norm. Most denizens subsist off of basic farming or menial factory jobs, with few economic imports or exports. Denizens suffer under an enormous tax burden throughout the region, with a median tax rate of 56%, and much higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the public sector, with on average only 27% of the economy comprising the private sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.
Education is a priority for governments throughout Teen Titans, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Denizens have well-funded defense forces. Due to the lack of any Public transport, streets are packed with cars, bikes, and assorted noisy vehicles.
In Teen Titans, government departments are frequently completely unaware of one another, such is size of administration departments. Governments bestow their healthcare departments with a gargantuan amount of funding, with an average of 18% of government budgets across the region being heaped on to healthcare. Governments in the region have a pathological fixation on welfare, with welfare budgets soaking up huge amounts of government expenditure. Governments within the region are fixated with religious worship, with nations having an inordinately high average of 11% of total government funds devoted to it.
In Teen Titans, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. The landscapes of the region are no longer recognizable as such, the atmosphere being unbreathable and the only jungles being made of concrete.
