Teremara

Teremara is a small region, sparsely populated by only 7 nations and only 2 World Assembly Members.

The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Teremara eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Political freedoms are extended only to close friends and relatives of the leaders of the region's governments. Economies in the region tend to be stronger than average. The median tax rate of the region is 36%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the private sector, with on average only 42% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 3% of public expenditure.

In Teremara, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. The region's law enforcement is arguably too well-equipped and overzealous, arresting citizens who dare to commit the most minor of infractions. Denizens have well-funded defense forces. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 5% of total government budgets.

Nobody really knows about the state of administration in Teremara. Observers asked for information, but found nobody was available to take calls. Governments bestow their healthcare departments with a gargantuan amount of funding, with an average of 11% of government budgets across the region being heaped on to healthcare. No welfare is provided in the region. Those unlucky enough to fall into unemployment are forgotten and abandoned. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

In Teremara, Social inequality is total, with wealth being held by a tiny fraction of the region's populace. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
