Terra Luna is a minuscule region, inhabited by a sole nation.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Terra Luna eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Nations in the region are considered developing democracies, with some political freedoms afforded to denizens. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. Inhabitants of the region ultimately pay most of their earnings to the government, as the median tax rate is 93%, or more! The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the public sector, with on average only 28% of the economy comprising the private sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 7% of public expenditure.
In Terra Luna, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems. Defense is an overarching priority for governments within the region. One might suggest they are compensating for something. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 7% of total government budgets.
