The Confederation is a medium-sized region, with a thriving community of 47 nations and 6 World Assembly Members. It has a regional government that makes the major decisions on the regional legislature and management.
In The Confederation, denizens enjoy bountiful civil rights. Nations in the region are healthy democracies, with denizens being afforded an extensive array of political freedoms. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. The median tax rate of the region is 36%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the private sector, with on average only 41% of the economy comprising the public sector.
Education is a priority for governments throughout The Confederation, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. The region's law enforcement officials are very effective as proven by the low crime-rates relative to the funding that is put towards law and order. Defense is a major priority for governments within the region, with a large chunk of government budgets being devoted to it. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 5% of total government budgets.
Throughout The Confederation, governments find themselves to be very capable and having ample knowledge in the running of government. Healthcare is not funded as much in the nations as the region provides healthcare to the citizens of member nations to leave more money to fund other important aspects of the government. Social equality in The Confederation is evident as the citizens of all nations enjoy minimal wealth gaps and relatively similar tax rates. The environments of the nations of the region are beautiful and account for a large portion of the tourism that countries in The Confederation receive. The region funds environmental projects as environmental protection and beauty are major focuses of the region.
The current RP year in The Confederation is 2014 and it is a region that accepts all technologies. They recently developed a regional interspace defense system that protects the region from any potential invaders. There is a regional biosphere that was developed by Abidawe and houses the Space Cup, a tournament hosted by the region every year in every sport.
