The Democratic Socialist Union is a minuscule region, inhabited by a sole nation.
In The Democratic Socialist Union, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Commerce is low priority for governments, accounting for an average of 2% of public expenditure, although commerce is generally seen as a source of tax revenue.
Education is a priority for governments throughout The Democratic Socialist Union, with ample funding being provided and teachers enjoying a great deal of support. There is a very high level of crime within the region and law enforcement resources are stretched thin. Defense is a major priority for governments within the region, with a large chunk of government budgets being devoted to it. Public transport is a popular mode of transport in the region, receiving on average of 9% of total government budgets.
The administration departments of The Democratic Socialist Union are all-consuming, soaking up budgets in aid of supporting a bureaucracy of millions, with an average of 24% of government budgets being devoted to Administration.
