The Rotgeheime Kriegsmarine (German: Rotgeheiman Navy), also known as the Kriegsmarine or simply the Rotgeheiman Navy, is the maritime branch of the armed forces of Rotgeheim. It is composed of numerous fleets, flotillas, task forces, battle groups, and so on, and is commanded by Großadmiral (Grand Admiral) Benedikt Höffner. It was formed in 1842 to protect the waters of Rotgeheim from attack by rival forces, as well as serving a secondary purpose of ferrying refugees from the war-torn nations of Steinweg and Fuerstenburg to the safe lands of Rotgeheim. Since its foundation it has grown from a collection of scavenged and improvised vessels to a large, cohesive, formidable maritime fighting force.
