Rudolf II von Kerlich

Rudolf, Duke von Kerlich (1783-1839) was a Braslander nobleman. He was the son of Duke Alfred IV von Kerlich.

In 1808 he married Countess Cecilie von Falkenhausen. They had children: Alfred (born 1810), Martha (born 1811; nun), Andreas (born 1814-1829) and Victoria (born 1816). Cecilie was the heiress of a distant aunt who had a considerable fortune. However, she died in 1829 in an accident with her second son. The fortune passed instead to her daughter Victoria, who married into the royal family.

Rudolf died in 1839.
