Stefanos Fabius, 35th Duke of Paphlagonia

Stefanos Fabius, 35th Duke of Paphlagonia KP, FIS (20 March 1777 – 11 September 1857), styled Lord Paphlagonia until 1795, was a wealthy Diadochian landowner.

Early life

Paphlagonia was born in 20 March 1777 , the son of Lefteris Fabius, 34th Duke of Paphlagonia. He was baptised on 8 May 1777 at with the name of Stefanos Marios Fabius. In 1795 he succeeded his father in the dukedom.

Public life

He served as President of the Imperial Institution of Science from 1828 to 1844. He was also a Fellow of the Royal Society. In 1837 he was made a Knight of the Panagia.
