The Battle

The Planning

Nvrads had decisive and percise plans, but Ulmur had no knowledge of a Nvradian Attack.

Plan VIII (Nvrads)

The Nvradian Plan was a swift smash through Relstaffen and another attack at Nurmanne de Caillre that would converge at Le Catre, and cut off most of the Ulmurian Army. At Relstaffen it would be the 4th Lineinfanterie under Wilhhelm von Hurpitz, and the Elite 66th Jaeger Infanterie under General Erwin Eallenhurd and a central attack in the middle of the conversion heading directly for Le Catre would be under the 3rd Heavijaegerinfanterie super elite veteran force under Field Marshal Karl Redder von Kamogne. If Relstaffen was taken, Ulmur also could not do as much as attack Nvrads. If Ulmur was to have a supply line, Relstaffen must be HELD.

Plan XVIII (Ulmur)

The Goal of Plan Eighteen was to Make sure a War with Nvrads was on the offensive, and that Ulmur would never have blood spilled on her own country. This plan was introduced but never official. It was blatanely summarized by Ulmurian Strategist Allger Naeru Bugre as counterstrikes all along the line into Nvrads to deal heavy enemy casualties then a line attack all along the front and defeat Nvrads decisively.

The Fight, and aftermath

General Wilhelm von Hurpiz versus General Guillere François. On April 9, 1815, 7:00 AM, suddenly, a thousand gun barrage opened on François's forces. Hurpiz retreats steadfast, but then he advances while François advanced into a death trap. He realized this and retreated; at La Caiit Farm, 15,000 Nvradians funneled through the gates, and the Ulmurian Light Infantry Charged With The Ulmurian Commander Louis Alexandre and took 20,000 Prisoners but were forced to retreat by Nvradian Reserves. At 3:00 PM, Louis Alexandre was killed in the newly occuring 1,000 Gun Barrage, and Ulmurian Forces retreated right into the trap made by Erwin Eallenhurd, and they'd additionally get attacked by Kamogne. All of Alexandre's wavering forces were captured.
