The Mese

The Mese Street (Greek: Η Μέση Οδός, I̱ Mési̱ Odós; French: La rue Mese) is a street in Atlantis, Diadochia. The Street is named because it is located in the middle of the city, cutting through the city like a sword. The Mese or middle is the oldest section of the city of Atlantis and the major thoroughfare.
The street is the main scene of Diadochian imperial processions. The Mese runs from the Cassander Square to the Augustaion square, being located near to the Hagia Sophia Cathedral.
Along its long route, the Mese passes many notable buildings and landmarks, including:
- Hippodrome of Atlantis
- Palace of St. Constantine
- Lauseion Palace
- Imperial Baths of Zeuxippus
- Antióchou Palace
- National Library of Diadochia
- Elateia House: Home of the Earls of Elateia
- Tyana House: owned by the Dukes of Cappadochia
- Paphlagonia House: home of the Dukes of Paphlagonia
