Theodora von Kerlich (born 1966) is a Braslander novelist. She is the daughter of Duke Winrich von Kerlich.

She began to write in the early 1980s and some of her friends recommended her to show her work to Daniel Harberger, a powerful literary agent. He liked her prose and offered to represent her. Theodora first novel was published in 1989 and soon she became an editorial success. Since 1989 she has published eighteen novels and has become one of the country's favorite writers. She has won several national and international awards.

In 1984 she married Count Joseph von Henslen. Sadly, her success caused a toll in her marriage. She and her husband separated in 1991 and their marriage was annulled in 1998. They had three children. She remarried in 2007 to Alonso von Birkenstein, who is a writer and editor. He was eight years her junior, and this eventually affected their relationship. They separated in 2013 and are currently in the process of annulling the marriage.
