The Vengeful Phoenix Class Super Dreadnaught is the first vessel of its kind, and also the second largest ship class in California's Imperial Navy. Dwarfing the nation's previous class the CES Phoenix by slightly less than double its length and size these ships were built to deliver one hell of a hit in a short timeframe.

This latest vessel, christened the Vengeful Phoenix Class, California's largest Super Dreadnaught class, was approved for construction and on December 15, 2259 construction began. Construction was completed on November 19, 2263 at the Monterey Californian Shipyards at Monterey, California, CSDSF. After sea trials, the ship was put into service in the Californian Imperial Navy's Pacific Fleet on July 3, 2264.
