Visvaraja formally the Holy Universal Kingdom (Adhvoja: XX, Pavitra Visvaca Rajya), is a polity in north-eastern Ascesia, bordered by Latthapuram, Nation 105, and by the Medius the Messenian nation of Siurskeyti and Ynys Fala. It is part of the Sakkimutthi Alliance and one of the prime political forces within Northern Ascesia, next to Yfirland.

Seen as a small power with considerate influence in it's region, Visvaraja has been a friend to it's Messenian neighbors in the east (mainly the Savamese) since it's foundation, both due to religious undertones and shared history with them. Even though with such influence and power, Visvaraja is still underway full modernization, with help from some messenian neighbors. There is currently a civil war in the nation that has been going on in the 1970's, leading to a 20-year long ceasefire. Recent developments are seen to be reviving the war, yet both parties are not yet proclaiming the end of the ceasefire.

Etymology

Visvaraja is an Adhvoja contraction of the Old Serovitic Bhramavadic phrase Visvaca Raj, (XX) <ref>Guru Payu, Pavitra Satya: Legends of the Sabhi (Jakayu Publications, Varadhara, Mahavishuri, 2000)</ref> meaning Universal Ruler. The Universal Ruler is a Sabhi-Bhramavadic idea that the path to Mahanasatya must guided by the ones who have truly understood it (Gurudev).

The Visvaca Raj mysticism was one of the primary driving forces of the development of the Vajravattam Tradition, which believes that humanity must be guided to freedom from the dreaming state of reality which is the world, and people who have ascended to Mahanasatya have the natural obligation to show them the paths through their teachings.

Physical geography

Visvaraja is an amalgam of a peninsular and archipelago nation covering an area of XXX km2 (XXX sq mi), resting on the easternmost area of Tirshavic Ascesia. divided into three geographical areas: Insular and Peninsular. The insular regions comprise the Jahavi Archipelago, consisting of the six great islands of Draupati, Dropaka, Sarumatvi, Mahamuni, Jayu and Jalabumi and 1,337 lesser ones. The Peninsular region consists the eastern fringe of the Anataja Peninsula (the rest of this landmass is under Anataja territory). The region sits on the Lavitri sea, part of the Medius.

The Peninsular region is primarily flat in the coastal areas rising up within the inner areas. with the highest point in Mahavishuri being Agāradi Peak. This region would have been prone to destruction by storms if it wasn't for the Jahavi Archipelago serving as a shield. The Jahavi region itself is a hilled region with it's own mountain range. Overall Mahavishuri is an archipelago of hills and low mountains, peppered with rivers.

Geologically, the Kingdom is rich in Gold and Iron, giving the nation wealth through the mining industry.

Climate

Visvaraja is wholly dominated by tropical and subtropical biomes, due to their position within the Ascesian continent. Due to this, there are three primary seasons within the kingdom: Summer (X, xx) which lasts from Mid-March to June; Fall (X, xx) which lasts from July to October; and Rain (X, xx) which lasts from November to Early March.

  • Rainforest
  • Tropical Insular. Peninsular is near temperate/subtropical.
  • 3 seasons: Summer, fall, rain.

History

Antiquity

  • 3000 BCE theorized arrival of humans in the Sabhian Region

The Sabhian Kingdoms

  • Ruins suggest civilization mixes with Madhupradic culture
  • Some Kingdoms (from Dattvas) Repel the Madhupradic forces
  • On-Off Occupation?

The Visvaraj Era

  • Dattva Dharamani unites the old kingdoms, founds the First Pervading Kingdom
  • Major trading force in the region, some contact with the savamese
  • Golden age of religion and art, the "Mahapuriga"
  • consists of 120 and 121
  • Voraey war, the Savaraj takes control of the Siur port
  • "Expeditions to the east", the Vishvari explores the western fringes of the messenian world
  • Last Savaraj of Visvaraja dies, cadet branches battle for control of the throne
  • Rivalry of the clans leads to division, modern Anataja in west, modern Mahavishuri in east.

Kingdom on the Eastern Islands

  • Due to the division of the Visvari kingdom, the western schism strives to be the same nation as it is
  • Improvement of farming system, centralization of government slowly rises, dattva feudalism slowly fades away, yet still a pivotal element in Tirshavic politics

  • Spice and other colonial luxuries within the region encourages trade with messenia

The Long War and After

In the middle times of the Long War, the increasing conflict in Messeno-Joriscia encroaches and alienates Ascesia (an example was with Yfirland dealing with Messenian ships at the time), forcing the Mahavishuri and his neighbors to participate. But due to these Sabhian nations in the losing side, them, along with Mahavishuri fell into disarray, from economic depression and widespread poverty with the global Climatic Correction (Years without Summers) worsening the situation with large scale famines, something the Savarāntthi Parivarasi is not even prepared to deal with. Due to this, she came to an agreement with the Dāttvas, giving all the powers of the monarchy to the select group of 12 Dāttvas, called the Sacacātta (Council of Truth), for the time being to control the growing problem until the nation has been raised from increased poverty. The Sacacātta did nicely on their beginning steps, but has found disdain from the people when it began abusing the system in its later years.

This got the attention of the new Savarāntthi Vankara, who, after many attempts, has been denied of the request to return the power to the monarchy. Angered both at this and the corruption by the Sacacātta, she, with many supporters, her army and loyal Dāttvas at her side, declared war against the council, sparking the Khāttayā War in 1972. Yfirland’s army also participated in the war in later times, meddling with Vishuri affairs. They managed to take the trust of the monarchists, aiding them in battles and supplying them with weapons or other basic necessities. With this, the monarchists obtained the upper hand and led to a swift victory in the Battle of Gandharā, crippling the Council greatly and automatically reinstating the monarchy back to the Savarāj, with Vankara being crowned officially in 1980. The Council retreated to unknown areas, and was never been heard of until decades later. In 2000, various bombings in Messenian-owned establishments in cities like Tagharā Rājā, Menāri, Druphandaccā, and Varadhāra sparked the war once more, ending 21 years of virtual ceasefire. Manhunt operations in Mahavishuri and elsewhere are being initiated by the Savarāja and Dāttvas until the present.

The current Savarāja of Mahavishuri is the young Andhusana II, crowned just recently in 2007. With his recent policies such as the “War Barrier Plan” (Blocking foreign military activity in the mainland, restricted to specific “special zones” except unless by legal permission from the government), lessening of Tariffs on Messenian and other foreign nations, and the “Projek Mahāsrijandda” (Great Srjana) improvement and enrichment of the liberal arts. As of this point the Vishuri and the other Sajakimurti are expected to play a larger part in the future, serving the Messenian's interests.

Government and authority

The Pervading Kingdom is a Rescapitan Semi-Feudal and Federal Absolute Monarchy, following the Sabhian Datāvakē framework. At the highest helm the Savarāja (fem. Savarānī) rules the nation, along with compliant Bannerlords called Dāttva (fem. Hārani) who owns large self-administered local estates (Vantācca) in return.

The Royal government (consisting of the Savarāja and his Bureaucracy) is the primary handler of nationwide matters, with the Dāttva ruling as subordinate to the Royal government. The Dāttva and their subjects are ruled and ordered through a code of law called the Mahavātta, a specific set of rules and policies to be followed by the Dāttva codified by the Savarāja. This code of law is revised or changed every succession of monarchy, which accords to the Parivartana tenet of the Bhramavadic religion. Any violation of the Mahavātta can lead to dire consequences, like execution and annihilation of the whole Dāttva.

Politics

  • Mahavātta being capable of being used as an excuse
  • Savarāja can manipulate the Dāttva, can be in reverse
  • Dāttva manipulating the Royal government to take up funds
  • Highly based on family connections

Ethnology

Mahavishuri has a population of an estimated 21 million, distributed mainly in the islands. Most of the population once reside in the rural areas, until in the industrial era, high Messenian presence giving new opportunities in the city leads to the modern concentration of the majority of the population in the urban areas. Demographically, the kingdom's population consists of 33% Bayuri, 29% Adhvojana, 32% Taja, 6% Messenian/Foreign.

Ethnically, Mahavishuri is culturally and linguistically harmonic when looking in a Messenian point of view. While the whole of the native population regards themselves as Vishuri, they are still divided by tribal/ethnic and cultural distinctions. The horse riding nomadic Adhvojana, for example, does not identify as a seafaring Bayuri or Taja but regards them as cultural cousins. The same applies in the latter.

  • Three Ethnicities
  • Adhvojana nomads from Sarvakoja
  • Bayuri and Taja Seafaring, Bayuri influenced by Madhupradans

Religion
