Prakāśa offically The Republic of Prakāśa is a nation in the North Pacific.

History

Prakasa was known as the Kingdom Of Niścala or "Kingdom of peace" from 1650 to July 28, 1967. In it's 16th-19th century span it was known as a quite prosperous nation in the early-20th century however, a decline in the world economy caused Niścala to slip into economic decline. On July 28, 1967 General Jagannatha Mahavir Korrapati seized power in a bloodless coup after arresting former President Shrinivas Bandyopadhyay and assuming office. In November 2014, President Jagannatha Mahavir Korrapati anncounced that presidental elections would take place in December and he would step down one month later.

Geography

Prakāśa is a landlocked nation made mostly up of forests and rugged mountains.

Politics

Prakāśa is officially labels itself as a semi-presidential republic, although the only elections have been for the Prime Minister and Parliamentary. The parliament is known as the Sansada.

Military

The armed forces of Prakāśa are known as the Republican Armed Forces.
