The Dominion of Jacland was a sovereign country up until 2015 when it united with Seketan, forming Seketan and Jacland. The country was part of the British Commonwealth and thus the British monarch was the head of state. The country became independent from the United Kingdom in 1901, following some unsuccessful independence rebellions. The first prime minister was Sir Alex Decita and the last was Paul Camros.

The country has engaged in several military conflicts, including the Great Nelborne War and the St. James War. The country invested much into its navy and thus thrived in naval military conflicts.

Following unification with Seketan, Jacland abandoned the British Commonwealth and all ties to the monarch. However, certain symbols of royalty can still be present in some areas.
