Texas is a enormous region, with a very large community of 162 member nations. Texas features a very respectable representation in the World Assembly, with 41 member nations.
In Texas, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Nations in the region are healthy democracies, with denizens being afforded an extensive array of political freedoms. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. The median tax rate of the region is 32%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the private sector, with on average only 43% of the economy comprising the public sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 8% of public expenditure.
In Texas, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems.
