Mordor is a enormous region, with a very large community of 142 member nations. Mordor features a very respectable representation in the World Assembly, with 36 member nations.

The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of Mordor eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. Denizens suffer under an enormous tax burden throughout the region, with a median tax rate of 61%, and much higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the public sector, with on average only 48% of the economy comprising the private sector. Commerce is a priority for governments, accounting for an average of 7% of public expenditure.

Mordor does not prioritize education in any meaningful way. The region's law enforcement is arguably too well-equipped and overzealous, arresting citizens who dare to commit the most minor of infractions. Defense is an overarching priority for governments within the region. One might suggest they are compensating for something. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 1% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.

Governments in Mordor communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 6% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 4% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is rife amongst the nations within Mordor. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
