Texas

Texas is a enormous region, with a very large community of 164 member nations. Texas features a very respectable representation in the World Assembly, with 42 member nations.

In Texas, denizens enjoy their civil rights, although not too much, or too freely. Nations in the region are healthy democracies, with denizens being afforded an extensive array of political freedoms. The economy of the region is very strong, with a large number of very powerful trading powers. The median tax rate of the region is 32%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be heavily weighted towards the private sector, with on average 39% of the economy comprising the public sector. Stoking commercial activity is a major priority for governments, accounting for an average of 8% of public expenditure.

In Texas, denizens are afforded a reasonable education, although funding is somewhat wanting. Crime is low: the region enjoys well-equipped and well-funded police forces, coupled with efficient but fair judicial systems. Defense is a major priority for governments within the region, with a large chunk of government budgets being devoted to it. Public transport is an afterthought, with only 1% of total government budgets in the region being devoted to it.

Governments in Texas communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 3% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 4% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.

Social inequality is rife amongst the nations within Texas. Natural environments are quite bad, although some measures have been undertaken to ensure that the environment is protected.
