The Federation Of Dethklok 1000 is a medium-sized region, with a thriving community of 17 nations and only 5 World Assembly Members.
The straight-backed, broad-smiling populace of The Federation Of Dethklok 1000 eagerly dismissed concerns of oppression. Denizens generally have very few political freedoms, but some limited freedom is afforded to citizens of nations in the region. The economy of the region is remarkably unremarkable, with members being neither powerhouses nor basket cases. The median tax rate of the region is 38%, but is frequently higher for the wealthy. The economies of nations in the region tend to be weighted more towards the private sector, with on average only 49% of the economy comprising the public sector. Commerce within the region is an irrelevant annoyance to governments.
Denizens of the The Federation Of Dethklok 1000 are poorly educated, with rampant illiteracy. The region's law enforcement officials try hard to combat a relatively high level of crime, but are hampered by a lack of funding. Defense is a major priority for governments within the region, with a large chunk of government budgets being devoted to it. Due to the lack of any Public transport, streets are packed with cars, bikes, and assorted noisy vehicles.
Governments in The Federation Of Dethklok 1000 communicate very well amongst themselves, with administration departments working smoothly, with 7% on average of government budgets being devoted to Administration. Some government provision is made for healthcare, but at an average of only 2% the provision for healthcare in the region is paltry. Welfare in the region is minimal, with only a small amount of expenditure being devoted to spending on social security. Governments in the region are avowedly atheist - no public funds are allocated to spirituality.
Social inequality is rife amongst the nations within The Federation Of Dethklok 1000. The environments of the nations in the region are almost universally appalling.
The Federation of Dethklok 1000 was founded by Dethkloktopia in late October 2013. With the help of notable nations (Mopiona; Jamaxia/Systematica; Yulis) he recruited nations, set up bustling forums and wrote a constitution. After barely a month of existance the region had a healthy population of 40+ nations, which peaked in early December 2013. The Federation Of Dethklok 1000's first elected Delegate was Yulis, who helped to grow the region and deal with both internal and external affairs. In the second half of Yulis' delegacy, the first of Dethkloktopia's periods of inactivity began. With it came a time of decline in the region's population, as the older inactive nations began to CTE and a smaller number of new nations came into the region.
In late January, in the middle of Dethkloktopia's longest (at the time) period of inactivity, Great Dubem, a nation who had been a resident of the region since the beginning of Yulis' delegacy, was elected WA Delegate. His election brought some controversy regarding his recent misfortune with the moderators. He promised to be more careful and for the first month of his time little trouble happened. However, this was not to last. Great Dubem had lost his ability to post on regional RMBs and after discovering that he could do so with puppets (albeit for only a short period of time, before their posting abilities were restricted also) he began to create puppets to allow him to more easily communicate with the region. Unfortunately, after around a week, the moderators deleted all of the nations he had created for Puppet Flooding, a rule that Dubem was unaware of when he created his nations. After some communication with the moderators, he was allowed to keep one naton, Glorious Dubem, but once again with posting restrictions.
By the end of February (and the mid point of his Delegacy) it was becoming obvious that Glorious Dubem's days were numbered. With his inability to communicate with the region effectively came certain inactivity. Also, with allegations involving the selling of information to other region (supposedly The Black Riders) came tension between Dubem and some of the nations in the region. In early March a group of nations decided they had had enough. With the impending loss of their founder Dethkloktopia (who CTEd on the 8th March 2014, after 145 days of looking over the region) they chose to impeach him. Yulis was elected as an interim Delegate on the 7th March in a tight election.
