The Élite League is a professional football league at the top of the Paripanan league system. Founded in 2139 by Capitalizt SLANI and Jasĭyun as the Capitalizt Élite League, it is the second-oldest football league in continuous operation, after the Elven Premier League. Since 2163, it has been organized by the Paripana Sporting Council, which rebranded it the Paripana Élite League, and in 2180 it assumed its present name. The Élite League was one of the founding members of the Champions’ Cup and has historically been the most successful league in UICA competition, with a total of forty-two UICA trophies, including thirteen Champions’ Cups, won by sixteen Paripanan clubs.

Under the present format in use since 2230, the Élite League consists of two divisions, Élite League One and Élite League Two, each consisting of sixteen teams. Each league is played as a home-and-away round-robin. The bottom two teams in Élite League One are relegated and replaced by the top two teams in Élite League Two, while the bottom three teams in Élite League Two are relegated and replaced by the division champions of the Paripana Third. The top teams from Élite League One qualify for the Champions’ Cup or Globe Cup, and teams from Élite League Two qualify for the Series B Champions’ Cup. The Élite League champion is also invited to participate in the Atlantian Oceania Champions League.
