The 2009 Kyrloth Speaker Election was held following the expiry of the ten-year term of the Speaker of the House. As the only candidate upon the declaration of the election on Friday 4 September was the incumbent, Erun Zlovsky, the vote scheduled for Thursday 1 October was not held, and Zlovsky was returned as the Speaker for another ten years.
