Reverend Adam Soule (1796-1864) was an American missionary who lived in the Kingdom of Rataii.

He studied Theology at Yale University. In 1820 he married Charlotte Hull, and soon after the wedding they departed for the Rataiian Islands as part of a Congregationalist group of missionaries that intended to evangelize the people of the archipelago. The group included missionaries Micah Howland and Clarence Arundel. They arrived in 1821, settling in the island of Maroa.

Reverend Soule was a key figure in the Congregationalist mission and a prominent man in the islands. He was a friend of several Rataiians notables, who converted to Christianism under his influence.

After his wife's death in 1835, he continued his work in Maroa, founding the Seamen's Chapel in La'anahai, the island's only city. He devoted most of his work there, living a very strict and rigid life. In old age he was remembered as an unpleasant man, although appreciated by the locals for his charitable work.

He and Charlotte had several children, among them John, Emma, Maude and Anne.

Reverend Soule died in 1864 at La'anahai.
