Template:Infobox public transit The Atlantis Metro is a rapid transit system located in Atlantis, Diadochia. The Atlantis Metro is the oldest Metro system in all of Diadochia, beating the Olympias Metro by a few months in 1863. The Atlantis Metro is also one of the largest metro systems in Diadochia with 337 km of track. The Atlantis Metro is also one of the oldest rapid transit systems in Pandos.

History

The Atlantis Metro was originally founded by Constantine Levkados (the founder of the Levkados Group) in 1863. The Line was first created to act has a transport system for the Greater Atlantis Area. The Metro was in fact in private hands up until 1880. In 1880, Constantine Levkados sold all ownership of the rail to the government who unveiled it in 1882 with much pomp and ceremony, in connection with the Golden jubilee of Emperor George VII, celebrating the Emperor's fifty years on the Imperial throne. Ever since than Metro has been in Government hands.
