Eugen von Marignan

Count Eugen von Marignan (born 1927) is a Braslander broadcaster and naturalist. He is the son of Count Matthias von Marignan and Princess Ludovika of Brasland.

He is well-known as the face of numerous natural history programmes since the 1960s. He also served as Director of Programming for BBS (Braslander Broadcasting Studios), the country's main channel, between 1971 and 1984. Nowadays, he hosts a series of docummentaries about Brasland's alpine flora and fauna together with his son Wolf.

In 1954 he married Countess Stephanie von Innerwitz. They had seven children: Wolf (born 1955), Charlotte (born 1956), Heinrich (born 1958), Friedrich (born and died 1960), Teresa (born 1962), Irene (born 1963) and Matthias (born 1969).

In 2011 he was appointed Knight of the Order of St Nicholas.
