The Federation for the Movement of Independence of Gonzalez Isle (FEMOINGOLS) is a Torisakian terrorist and separatist organization founded in 2013. It advocates complete sovereignty of the González Archipelago from both Narsora and Torisakia rule. Since 2013 GZIIM has claimed responsibility for around six acts of terrorism, resulting in 500+ Deaths and 1000+ Injuries such as the 2014 Torisakia Independence Day bombings which killed 27 and injured 48. FEMOINGOLS are designated a terrorist group by the governments of Torisakia and Narsora

Attacks

The first attack carried out by FEMOINGOLS was the 2013 Paleto Bay attacks in Torisakia where an infantry platoon of armed men attacked the town of Paleto Bay, killing 23 people and injuring 25 more. FEMOINGOLS did not claim responsibility for the attacks until almost a year later. The attacks prompted a bill passed by Torisakia legislature that reformed their emergency services and better training for police.

The second attack carried out by FEMOINGOLS, and the first known, was the 2013 Aritza mall shootings in Gonzalez Isle. On December 12, 2013, five gunmen entered the Aritza shopping centre in Aritza, Gonzalez Isle and killed 31 people and injured 14. FEMOINGOLS claimed responsibility just days afterwards and sparked a nationwide hatred against them. Two of the five gunmen have been caught and arrested as of May 2015.

The third and fourth attacks carried out by FEMOINGOLS were the riots in Gonzalez Isle City and Aafjes in early 2014. FEMOINGOLS started anti-Torisakian protests in the two cities and used violence as a means of expression. In the weeks of the riots, many affiliated with FEMOINGOLS burned down businesses, homes, and killed and injured dozens of civilians, many of which were either pro-Torisakian or Torisakian themselves. The riots lasted two and a hlf weeks and left over T$250,000 in damage to the cities.

The fifth attack happened on June 29, 2014, Torisakia Independence Day. At 1:34 PM TST in Douglas-La Pryor, two car bombs were detonated on Troutwood Avenue, which was holding special events for Independence Day, that killed 27 and injured 32. Most of the fatalities came from shrapnel from the cars rather than the explosions themselves. FEMOINGOLS took responsibility hours after the event happened, and demanded that the Torisakia government "heed [our] warnings or cost the lives of your own people". Security was raised at an international friendly association football match between Torisakia and Gonzalez Isle two days later. Although the crowd was rather peaceful for the duration of the match, outrage was sparked when Torisakia beat Gonzalez Isle 13-6 in accusation that the Torisakian team 'purposely ran up the score'.

The sixth attack happened on March 6-7, 2015 when an infantry company seized the Gonzalez Islean town of Carlitos. The next day, a battalion of Torisakia Army soldiers passed by the town and were shot at, prompting a three hour long firefight that resulted in FEMOINGOLS losing control of the town and a large black market circulating between FEMOINGOLS. Also found was evidence of brutal torture to those who are against FEMOINGOLS ideology.

The seventh and most recent attack happened in May 2015 when a squad of FEMOINGOLS, dubbed "El equipo de demolición" or "The Wrecking Crew", seized a supermarket in Atavī, Narsora that resulted in a two hour standoff with security forces. Three of the four soldiers in the crew were killed and another was apprehended when a police tactical team stormed the market.

Propaganda

Various forms of propaganda have been created by FEMOINGOLS. Sometime in late 2013, they established the FEMOINGOLS Committee of Public Relations (FEMOINGOLS Comite de Relacions Publicas). Once thought to be an actual, fully formed committee by the Torisakia National Office of Security Enforcement, it was revealed in May of 2014 that it was a group of only three or four people who produced propaganda media at a FEMOINGOLS base in the Gonzalez Islean wilderness. The FEMOINGOLS Committee of Public Relations has produced numerous amount of propaganda media, mainly films and educational shorts. These films are sometimes broadcast late at night through UHF waves, reaching open-air TV and Radio stations. However, they last such a short time and are shown so late at night that very few people are able to see them, let alone record them. In August 2015, the Torisakia National Office of Security Enforcement located the FEMOINGOLS base where the committee was operating and raided it, leading to the arrest of fifty FEMOINGOLS soldiers and fifteen others accused of being affiliated with them. The NOSC recovered over twenty propaganda films on video tape, and dozens of other propaganda posters and other various forms of media. As of September 2015, only one FEMOINGOLS propaganda video has been released to the public, as all others have been declared classified.

"Federación para el Movimiento de Independencia de González Isla" propaganda film

In the August 2015 raid conducted by the NOSC, twenty five propaganda films produced by the FEMOINGOLS Committee of Public Relations were recovered. One of these was an educational film about the FEMOINGOLS movement. Labelled "PF-A-1", the film goes into detail about what the movement is about and encouraging people to join. The NOSC dubbed this the "Federación para el Movimiento de Independencia de González Isla propaganda film" due to its content. On September 1, 2015, after reviewing the film, the NOSC ruled PF-A-1 as declassified and released it to the general public, subtitled in English. The quality of the film shows how little of a budget the FEMOINGOLS Committee of Public Relations had to make these films, as it seems rushed and has much wear and tear to it. The other twenty four films are still labelled as classified and no word has been made on whether they will become available to the public or not.
