Friederich Hummels (born 16 April 1882) is a Rotgeheiman Hauptscharführer (Sergeant First Class) in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He is most famous for saving several civilians from execution during the Invasion of Scheinfeld, for which he earned many decorations both in the Verteidigungsstaffel and from foreign powers.

Hummels is married to Franziska Krafft, with whom he was two sons and a daughter.
