George Synadenos, 17th Duke of Phrygia, KP PC (30 October 1684 – 9 January 1741) was a Diadochian nobleman and Prásinoi politician, the son of George Synadenos, 16th Duke of Phrygia.


He was made a Privy Counsellor (PC) in 1715, and served as Megas Kanikleios from 1715 to 1717. He was invested as a Knight of the Panagia (KP) in 1717.

In 1723, he was enlisted as a founding governor for the new children's charity, the Atlantis Foundling Hospital, which was founded to alleviate the problem of babies being abandoned by destitute mothers. George Synadenos sold the Old Synadenos and built a new Synadenos House on the fashionable Konstantinoupoleos Avenue in 1718.

He had seven children with his wife. His eldest son George, succeeded him as Duke of Phrygia.
