The Great Alemonian Ambassador to the World Assembly is the leader of the GA delegation, the GA Mission to the World Assembly. The position is more formally known as the "Representative of the Federal Republic of Great Alemonia to the World Assembly, with the rank and status of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, and Representative of the Federal Republic of Great Alemonia in the Security Council of the World Assebly".
The GA Permanent Representative, currently Tertinia Tertia, is charged with representing Great Alemonia on the WA Security Council and during almost all plenary meetings of the General Assembly, except in the rare situation in which a more senior officer of the United States (such as the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs or the Lord President of Great Alemonia) is present. Like all Great Alemonian ambassadors, he or she must be nominated by the Lord President and confirmed by Parliament.
Tertinia Tertia was nominated for this position by the Lord President Caecilius and was confirmed by the Senate. She assumed office upon presenting her credentials to the WA Secretary-General on June 15, 2017.
