Henri, Duke de Pottin (1912-1992) was the son of Count François de Pottin and Princess Ottonia of Brasland.

In 1940 he married his cousin, Princess Isabella of Brasland. They only had a daughter, Aliénor, who was born in 1942. Isabella died suddenly in 1943, leaving Henri as a widower. He never remarried.

He was a close advisor to his father-in-law, King Frederick V, and later to his successor George III. Henri was a member of the Crown Council, an influential advisory body, as well as Private Secretary to George III. After the latter's death, he continued to serve under Queen Regent Charlotte, but in 1972 he resigned and started a career in politics. He served at Parliament until 1988.

In 1991 he was created Duke de Pottin by King Paul II, in recognition of his services to Crown and country. The decree allowed the title to pass to Henri's only daughter and her male line descendants.

He died in 1992.
