Her Excellency Aliénor, Duchess de Pottin (full name: Aliénor Maria Anna Ottonia Theodora Helena) is a Braslander courtier.

She was born in 1942, is the daughter of Henri, Duke de Pottin, and Princess Isabella of Brasland. She grew up with the royal family. As her mother died when she was very young, she was raised by her maternal grandmother, Queen Maria Anna, and her aunt, Princess Alexandra, with whom she is very close.

In 1968 she married Baron Constantin de Lanoye. They have five children: Isabella (born 1969), Charlotte (born 1971), Eric (born and died 1973), Maria Anna (born 1976) and Bertrand (born 1980). Their children bear the combined surname "de Lanoye-Pottin".

Aliénor is very close to Queen Charlotte, the widow of King George III. When the royal family left Brasland for exile in 1994, the duchess and her family followed them.

The duchess loyalty to the royal family and her obsession with duty has caused her several problems with her husband and children, who have felt neglected. Despite this, she is one of the most trusted members of the royal court.

She is the Mistress of the Robes to Queen Charlotte and Chancellor of the Order of Amalia.
