James "Jim" Adam Falken(born December 30, 1983) is the 4th and current President of the Democratic Republic of Dido Place. Born in Tucson, United States, he is the first non-elected President to preside over Dido Place and to some, his coup was illegitimate. He grew up in the Tucson community but fled high school to become a professional train driver where he met his wife, Anne Frank. He then went back to college at got his BA at the University of Arizona while being awarded a basketball scholarship. He played so well for the University of Arizona, getting the nickname "Sweating Jim" that he decided to play pro, even playing at the Olympics. He then got bored of life in the United States and headed to Dido Place where he joined a revolutionary movement that started the Republic of Aperm and became the captain of its militia. However, when Dido Place defeated the movement, Falken was appointed on as captain of their own militia. He lead Dido Place troops in the Wildwood War but never received recognition. He then challenged President DesJarlais in the 2014 Presidential Election but after the election was suspended, Falken arranged for DesJarlais kidnapping and execution before declaring himself "acting" President and he has remained in power since, strengthening the military, reappointing new district directors, and suspending the National Council.

Early Life and Education

Jim Falken was born in the city of Tucson in the United States to Peter Falken, a high school teacher, and Marissa Falken, a nurse. As a young boy, Falken went to school at his local schools but in high school, he became sick of schooling and dropped out, getting a job at the Union-Pacific Railroad. At the Union-Pacific, he worked his way up in the ranks fast to become a train driver and he soon became very prominent, running multiple train runs from San Diego to Tucson, to Austin, Texas. After working in the train businesses for a while, Falken realized that his options in life were very limited so he decided to go and enroll in the University of Arizona while getting a basketball scholarship.

Basketball Career

Jim Falken excelled in his studies at the University of Arizona and became a legendary basketball player, rivaling that of Ula, who was the captain of the Women's Basketball. Jim Falken won numerous tournaments and got the nickname "Sweating Jim" for his crazy playing style. He did so well, that after graduating from the University, he decided to go professional and play at the Olympics and in national tournaments.

Military and Political Career

Aperm Republican Guard

Eventually, Jim got tired of playing basketball and he headed off to the Democratic Republic of Dido Place. After seeing that there was no sports program or such, he decided he would join the newly successionist Republic of Aperm. He declared himself the immediate Captain of the newly formed Republican Guard and tried to organize them into a fighting force with the zero military experience he had. He helped establish and organize the Constitutional Convention of Aperm which issued the Acts of Accord that established their new government and he also designed their flag.

However, the Republic of Aperm was doomed to fail due to infighting among the politicians trying to draft the Constitution and the new political parties that formed only caused more division that chaos. Meanwhile, Jim Falken was continually using his rag tag militia to try to stave off the slightly more trained Republican Guard of Dido Place. Finally, in mid 2014, Aperm collapsed was reabsorbed into the Democratic Republic of Dido Place. Because of his military skill, Jim Falken was chosen as a new captain for the Republican Guard of Dido Place by President DesJarlais

As a captain of a slightly better trained militia, Falken tried to refine his tactics but he found himself most conducting raids and arrests for the President, as well as protecting the Presidential Palace. He was also sent out multiple times to fight foreigners that were trying to invade from the West and although he successfully repelled them, he received no recognition or medals from the President.

Presidential Campaign and Coup

In late 2014, Jim Falken announced he was going to be running as a Presidential candidate for the Regular Party and after some fierce campaigning, the President decided to suspend elections that year. Falken had enough with President DesJarlais so he issued a declaration of war against the President and then had Count Clown, a famous criminal, kidnap and kill the President. Then, Falken stepped up and proclaimed himself the new President, until he found the former President, and he summarily dissolved the National Council and instituted martial law. He began to issue Public orders as a new form of law and reorganized the heads of all the districts. Since then, his focus has been on consolidating his power and increasing the might of his military.

Personal Life

Jim Falken married Anne Frank, who he met while driving trains as she was a fellow train driver. She went on to be a renown astronaut while Falken went to play basketball. They had two children, Jeffery and Jemima. However, as of present, Jim Falken and Anne have been divorced, apparently ever since he left Arizona for Dido Place.
