This page is a work in progress by its author(s) and should not be considered final.

This is a list of political parties in Tarper.

The Parliament of the Federal Chancellery of Tarper, the Bundesrat, and the Bundestag, has a plural multi-party system, with two major parties, the Socialist Unity Party (SU) and the Labour Party (LP).

Tarper also has a number of minor parties, in recent history most importantly the Communist Party (CPT), The Greens, Social Democratic Party, and more recently the Party of Plamyadian Liberation (PLP), founded in 2010. The federal government of Tarper consists of a coalition of a major and a minor party, specifically SU and LP, LP and CPT or SU and Greens. Since 2013, the federal government consists of a coalition of the two major parties, called the Grand Coalition. Coalitions in the Bundestag and state legislatures are often described by party colors. Party colors are purple for the Socialist Unity Party, green for The Greens, Maroon for the Communist Party, light blue for the PLP, orange for the LP, and red for the Social Democratic Party.
