Ludwig Windgruber (born 14 March 1895) is a Rotgeheiman Oberscharführer (Staff Sergeant) serving in the Verteidigungsstaffel. He currently serves as a platoon sergeant in the 2nd Company, 27th Panzer Pioneer Battalion, 27th VS-Panzer Division Finnmarck.
Windgruber has fought in two major was that Rotgeheim recently participated in, those being the 10 Days War and the Northern Territory War. During his time in the Northern Territory War, Windgruber earned distinction in combat for single-handedly knocking out nine enemy armored vehicles when his unit was being overrun. For his actions he was awarded high honors and referenced in the Verteidigungsstaffelsbericht, the nation's weekly armed forces report for heroism and bravery in combat.
Ludwig Windgruber is married to Margaretha Maehler, with whom he has two children, Ludwig and Reinhard.
