Maximilian III von Lorensberg

Maximilian, Prince von Lorensberg (1921-2014) was a Braslander businessman and head of the Princely House of Lorensberg. He was the son of Prince August III von Lorensberg.

He studied at Rottendorf College and later served in the Royal Army for five years. In 1946 he matriculated at the University of Agricultural Studies in Thurwald.

In 1948 he married Duchess Elisabeth (Lili) von Kerlich. She died in 1950.

In 1954 Maximilian married Clara von Burgenhausen. They had eight children: Ludwig (born 1955), Günther (born 1956), Elisabeth (born 1957), Franziska (born 1959), Gerhard (born 1962), Kinga (born 1964), Heinrich (1967-1982) and Sebastian (born 1970).

The Prince von Lorensberg was a very successful businessman and keeper of his family's possessions.

He died in 2014.
