The Megas Konostaulos or Grand Constable of Diadochia is entitled to display two ceremonial swords as part of their coat of arms heraldic external ornaments.

Megas Konostaulos or Megas konostablos ("Grand Constable", in Greek variously κονόσταυλος, κονοσταῦλος or κονόσταβλος), is the seventh of the Great Officers of the Realm, in Diadochia, ranking beneath the Megas Praipositos and above the Megas Domestikos. The office is now purely ceremonial, with the holder playing a part in ceremonies at the Imperial Court of Diadochia and for coronations.

The Megas Konostaulos was originally the commander of the imperial armies and the Master of the Horse; the latter office is now independent. The Megas Konostaulos is also, in conjunction with the Megas Domestikos, president of the Imperial Court of Chivalry or Court of Honour. In feudal times, martial law was administered in the court of the Megas Konostaulos.
