The 2018 Narsoran General Elections were held in The Republic of Narsora on 6 November 2018 to elect the President, Vice President and the National Congress.

On 6 November 2018, former President of the Senate María Castellano came first in the first round of the presidential election. A run-off between Castellano and incumbent president Sandalio Joaquín Espina will be held on 26 November 2018.

Candidates

The four current candidates are;

  • Sandalio Joaquín Espina - Centre Party
  • María Castellano - New Democratic Party
  • Tomás Casal - Conservative Party
  • Laura Fernández - Left-Green Party

Results

In the first round of voting New Democratic candidate and president of the senate María Castellano came in first with 48.72% of the total vote with incumbent president Sandalio Joaquín Espina gaining a close 42.44%. For the first time, the Left-Green party earned a noteworthy 6.63% of the total vote.
