The Worker's Republic of Canada (often referred to as Canada) is a Syndicalist Republic. The country is situated in the Cobalt Network, and is led by Prime Minister Albert Winston.
Founded on June 29th, with an estimated land area of 9,984,670 square kilometers, a population of around 28 million and an estimated gross domestic product of 720 Billion Canadian Dollars, Canada is a significant power within the region.
Canada is Highly diplomatically influential in the region. Canada is a member of the World Assembly, where it is a regular voter on resolutions.
Canada is a developed country, with a thriving economy, which is dominated by the public sector. Industry in Canada is centred on Information Technology, Tourism, and Book Publishing. Government levies a PROGRESSIVE level of tax, citizens playing a very high average rate of 96.6%. Citizens of Canada enjoy average wages of only $4,486 after tax, though this is offset by massive public spending, and unemployment is low at 19.6% including those not in the labour force. Poverty in the country is non-existant.
