The National Worker's Confederation or NWC is an anarchist political party in Tarper, which has been described as a post-left, anarcho-communist, and anarcho-syndicalist party.
Founded in 1888, the NWC narrowly missed the 5% electoral threshold to sit in the Bundestag during the 2009 federal election. In 2014 the party won seven seats in the Covenant election as a member of the Misfits and outcasts group. After securing representation in a decent amount of state parliaments by January of 2016, the NWC started to gain members and is currently on its way to becoming a federally supported party.

History
The NWC is an anarchist party based on late 19th-century anarchist teachings. The party was originally a book club that met to discuss the writings of Proudhon and other past "anarchists"
Founding
NWC founder, Madeleine Eldrige, had read some of Proudhon's works and had convinced her friends to join in on a "book club" that would discuss these works of literature. A month after the founding of the club a name was chosen, the National Worker's Confederation. Influenced by the works of Marks and other early socialists, the name reflected the group's ultimate goal of liberating the worker. The NWC decided to become a real political organization instead of a book club. In late 1888, the organization signed its constitution and Madeleine Eldridge at the age of 22 became the first female to preside over a political organization.
First Underground (1888-1902)
During its first months, the NWC made newspapers, flyers, and printed books, though these were never popular due to the Grand Nationalist Revolutions that were happening at the time. Unfortunately, the party was not big enough to compete with the more mainstream parties of the time and only the United Socialist Democratic Party had recognized the organization. In 1890 the Grand Nationalist Revolutions had split up and killed the TSE, any political legitimacy that the NWC had was gone. The Kingdom of Astra, where the NWC was located, had outlawed democratic elections and warned any existing parties to stay under the covers or face destruction. Ten years had passed with the NWC remaining hidden and discussing in what ways could it change its situation. Fortunately, the announcement of the United Kingdoms of Tarper being a democratic republic with a monarch. The NWC had readied itself for a busy campaigning agenda.
Tries at election (1902-1914)
With the Advent of the United Kingdoms of Tarper in 1901 and the country's decision to allow free elections, the NWC sought to gain seats in the legislature. With a large amount of leftists voting for the party in the 1901 elections. Though they gained no seats, this did not stop the party for they campaigned harder in the 1906 election. Unfortunately for the NWC, the Communist Party of Tarper, then being known as Mark's Maroons, had taken their voters and gained seats in the legislature.
A discouraged NWC tried to regain its voters in the 1912 election, but the outbreak of the First Tarperti Civil War had put an end to any hopes of election. During the Civil War the NWC planned no allegiance, this angered a large amount of the party which expelled its ruling administration and joined the CPT in the revolution. After Communist victory in the Civil War the NWC prepared for an uncertain future.
Communist and republican era (1914-2002)
During the Communist era the NWC received a sizeable amount of chores and seats in the CTCR's legislature.
